    • Sara Haynes Endowed Scholarship Fund  – Established in 2001, this scholarship is intended for a full-time student in an accredited speech-language pathology program in the state of Texas who demonstrates specific interest in and commitment to clinical interventions with adults with neurogenic disorders.     • The Larry Higdon Student Presentation Fund  – Established in 2016, the purpose of this fund is to support an undergraduate or graduate student enrolled in a speech-language pathology or audiology program accredited by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. The award is given to a student who attends a professional meeting sponsored by the Texas Speech-Language-Hearing Association where the student makes a presentation as the first author on a topic related to the diagnosis and/or treatment of hearing impairment and/or auditory processing.

    Abilene Christian University

    • Jon Ashby Endowed Scholarship Fund  – Established in 2005 by friends and former students of Dr. Jon Ashby, the scholarship supports a graduate student in Speech/Language Pathology at Abilene Christian University.

    Baylor University

    • Gardner Gateley Endowed Scholarship Fund  – Established in 2001, this scholarship supports those graduate students who demonstrate outstanding clinical skills and the potential to become an exceptional clinician.

    New Mexico State University

    • Madeline Brand Endowed Scholarship Fund  –  Established in 2007, the award is intended for students enrolled in the Department of Speech Language Pathology at UTEP and the Department of Special Education/Communication Disorders at NMSU. The scholarship will be awarded in alternate years to speech-language pathology students from UTEP and NMSU. This scholarship will be awarded for the first time in 2008.

    Our Lady of the Lake University

    • Elizabeth Carrow Woolfolk Scholarship  – Established in 2006, this scholarship is intended for a student enrolled in the Department of Communication and Learning Disorders at Our Lady of the Lake University. Students to receive this scholarship will be selected by the Chairperson of the Department of Communication and Learning Disorders and a committee to be appointed by that Chair.
    • San Antonio Speech-Language-Hearing Association Endowment Fund  – Established in 1999-2000, this scholarship is awarded to a graduate student enrolled in the program of Communication Disorders. Three candidates will be selected by the designated faculty/staff of the university. The names of these candidates will be submitted to SASHLA who will choose the finalist.

    • Sondra's Money  – Established in 2002 by the family and friends of Sondra Fields who dedicated her work in providing quality services in the public school setting. This scholarship supports graduate students in Communication Disorders.

    Texas Christian University

    • Empress Zedler Scholarship Fund  - Established in 1999 by former students and colleagues of Empress Zedler to support a student majoring in Communication Disorders who is currently enrolled in the graduate program at Texas State University.

    Texas Tech University Health Science Center

    • Judith Keller Scholarship Fund  - Awarded for the first time in 2005, this fund was created by the NSSLHA Chapter from Texas Tech HSC and the South Plains Speech, Language and Hearing Association to support a graduate student in Speech/Language Pathology.

    Texas Woman's University

    University of Houston

    • Margaret Cooper Crabtree Scholarship Endowment Fund  – Established in 2001, this scholarship is awarded to a student currently enrolled in a graduate program of Speech-Language Pathology. The student must have worked in a public school setting and/or expressed an interest in continuing to work in the public schools as a speech-language pathologist.

    • Anne Mauzy Scholarship Endowment Fund  – Established in 1992 by Anne and Oscar Mauzy to support a student pursuing a career in the public schools, preferably in early childhood education.

    University of Texas at El Paso

    • Grace Middleton Scholarship Fund - Awarded for the first time in 2005, this scholarship fund was created by the El Paso Speech and Hearing Association to support a graduate student in Speech/Language Pathology.
    • Madeline Brand Endowed Scholarship Fund  –  Established in 2007, the award is intended for students enrolled in the Department of Speech Language Pathology at UTEP and the Department of Special Education/Communication Disorders at NMSU.
